Who We Are

Social Coaching

Autism can cause social interactions and new settings to be a challenge. With the help of our social coaches, individuals with autism learn to tolerate uncomfortable situations, adjust their approach to healthier coping mechanisms, and develop vital social skills and competencies. environment. Our coaches support participants to practice these new skills in a safe and welcoming community-based environment.

Who We Are

Professional Coaching

Individuals with autism have unique needs with respect to learning independence and self-discovery, due to their core challenges in social interaction and verbal and nonverbal communication. Participants in our program practice in professional environments, learn to create professional relationships with the support from our coaches, and acquire the skills and abilities to generalize his or her newly developed skill in other settings. The Autism Gives Back program advances students toward fulfilling occupations while utilizing six strategies for success.
