Brighter Future Charity had an awesome time joining the Shoreline Village for their annual zombie fest. Our students were amazed at the zombie make up and had fun in the mermaid booths that joined us this year for the zombie walk. Brighter Future Charity had an amazing time joining the EPKTO for there once a month dance. Our fun filled Halloween evening kicked off with an incredible serenade from some of the amazingly dress dance participate. Brighter Future Charity had an amazing time joining the Disability Pride Parade in Los Angeles for their third annual parade. We were so honored to have our group included in this year‘s festivities. A huge thank you to the city of Pasadena for their continued support of individuals in need of mental health support! Brighter Future Charity had an amazing night full of fun with all our amazing volunteer families! Our group was able to host 3 unique workshops to grow
inclusion among students we support and their peers; including, rock
painting, bracelet making, and a LEGO pit! Our families were able to
share different creations and techniques for working with creative
mediums while students got to create and grow connections to peers in
their community they would otherwise not have encountered. Our
students had the unique benefit of getting to practice social skills
in real life with peers that are in their community to create lasting

Brighter Future Charity had an amazing time joining Bixby Knolls for their first Friday fall festival! Our students enjoyed the cool fall air flowing through the outdoor market while we showcased some of our favorite art. We had a few LEGO fans join us and gave away a bunch of Star Wars LEGO posters in honor of one of our students accomplishments with those incredible tiny bricks!

Brighter future charity had an amazing time at the Dockweiler youth center for their last summer film series at the beach. We were bummed to not have our good friend Peggy available to join us this time, but are excited to see her for their next event! We had a few new students join us this event and we all enjoyed a chance to try Jack’s new LEGO creation. Brighter Future had an awesome time exploring all the weird art and science at the summer science and art fair this last weekend at Bixby Knolls. Our group saw some incredible art and exhibits with one animator at the fair doing a stop animation LEGO movie. We were thrilled to have two new students join us for this event and had our first ever workshop with our new clinical head Julia. Brighter Future had an amazing time joining the Jackalope arts fair again this summer for their first ever evening event. Our students enjoyed the chance to showcase some of their incredible art and we had a few returning customers who sought out our artists by name. We cannot thank the community in Pasadena for all the love and support they have shown our students in the last year! Our wonderful evening summer event ended with a surprise gift of shaved ice for all of our students at the event during our award ceremony generously provide by our founder Mila.
